If you missed the recent Vann.Edge fanfare during the world-renowned New York Fashion Week (NYFW), never fear. The New York Times captured the talent of the Vann.Edge Seattle team in a front page splash commemorating the show’s opening presentations, and featuring the much-admired Costello Tagliapietra collection.
Lisa Vann, along with designers Lawrie Wallace and Alicia Canon, had the honor of returning to the fashion capital after receiving an exclusive invitation from the Costello Tagliapietra design team to join them backstage once again to groom the fashion company for the runway. The entire backstage team worked collectively to prepare the designer’s runway models to expertly showcase the much anticipated Costello Tagliapietra collection. The event took place on the prestigious Lincoln Center runway, February 12, 2015, and was followed by the front-page New York Times highlight the next day. The showcase event was one of several high profile runway shows featuring the world’s most celebrated design talent in fashion during the February 2015 New York Fashion Week.
In September 2014, the Vann.Edge team also had the privilege of supporting the Costello Tagliapietra presentation of the Ready To Wear Spring Summer 2015 New York collection, also showcased on the NYFW runway at Milk Studio NY. The designer’s collection was critically acclaimed as one of the season’s most premier collections.
In both shows, model hair was exclusively styled by members of the Vann.Edge team, with each model’s hair representing a classic and subtle look designed to flow and frame the natural contour of the face and body. All choreographed to complement each Costello Tagiapietra couture design worn on the runway.
